My husband & I have lived in Garden Grove for over 35 years, and even though we've passed Renato's restaurant hundreds of times, we've never eaten there. Until last night, Friday September 27th. Excellent food, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was impressive! We're planning a trip to Sicily next October with my brother & sister-in-law. We're bringing them back here on October 18 for dinner. They definitely will be impressed! So glad we finally tried this little gem in Westminster!

OMG! This restaurant is to die for! My first time there and I'm hooked. I went during dinner service and the ambience was nice. Waiter was very familiar with the wines so I tried something new; something sweet. I ordered pasta and seafood. It was scrumptious! Other guests knew this was my first time there and were really friendly! A+++++++++

Came here with a group of friends, and ordered their supreme pizza. It was actually really good and we ended up splitting two slices per person. It didn't taste extra greasy and it taste obviously very fresh. I did wish that it was a little bit bigger to be honest with you, Splitting that with a group of friends felt better because you didn't feel super stuffed the pizza. I think I will try something else on the menu the next time we are here.

I came to Renato's on a Saturday afternoon for lunch with my family and I definitely want to come back! The restaurant is located in a large plaza with lots of other stores and restaurants. The servers were all very nice and helpful. There aren't that many tables but a decent amount. I ordered the gnocchi with pink sauce and wow! This was sooo good. The gnocchi was soft and chewed and the sauce complimented it so well. I shared pizza with my sister and the pizza was also really good. Definitely recommend the gnocchi and the special pizza.

Our family's favorite Italian restaurant! Hidden gem in the city of Westminster. Dinning experience was very fast, friendly and the food was just delicious!! We order Renato's for pick up almost once or twice month and we decided to dine in. It was beyond our expectations. We all loved our dish and everything was so fresh! What we ordered: Fried mozzarella Steamed clams Salmon Mediterraneo Spaghetti con Gamberi Renato Rib eye steak Everything on the menu is phenomenal. Try everything you won't be disappointed!

This spot always satisfies our pasta cravings. Highly recommend the Fettuccine Al Funghi Con Tartufi - pasta with cremini mushrooms and creamy truffle sauce. The creamy truffle sauce highlights the entire dish. This is IMO the best pasta on their menu. The complimentary garlic bread is always top notch. It's a perfectly toasted garlic bread. I always want more but need to stop myself ha.

When my family wants high quality pizza, we go to Renato's. We've been coming to this restaurant since my father worked at the radio shack next door to it (eons ago). As me and my siblings have all grown up, the food just continues to maintain the same original quality. The service tonight was exceptional. Our server was friendly and made sure to check on us often. Indoor seating was open and available when we arrived on a Thursday evening. Lots of parking out front of the restaurant in the lot.

Yes, another review. If you want homemade Lasagne or any Italian food on the menu, this is a hidden gem. It's tucked in a corner of a strip mall, literally the corner. The staff is friendly and efficient and if you're a regular they know what you want before you do. This lasagne takes 20 minutes, so sample some of their wines. Personally, I don't have knowledge about wine's but my brother-in-law seems to think it's impressive. When I walked in yesterday they were making ravioli, as you can see...it looks very fresh and tasty! Lastly, there's a beautiful mural along the back wall. It adds a "Touch of Italy". Oh, I almost forgot...there's a lush green patio where you can eat out front. If you can find it, you will love it!

Wednesday night's special is "no corkage" fee. What could be better since most of the cost is in the drinks. Had to take advantage of this. My first time here although I've driven by this place for the last 35 years. It's been a community staple surviving through all the growth and developments of the Vietnamese community. Very casual and mom and pop ambiance. I could see the Godfather sitting at the corner table. Small and quaint with friendly staff and quick service. Food is good, always when there's lots of wine. Prices are reasonable and won't brake the bank. Good selection of pasta dishes among other things. I had the rack of lamb cooked to my order of medium rare and it was perfect. Lamb, if not cooked/prepared right, can smell gamy but this had no smell. Kudos! It was crowded this night thinking that patrons were taking advantage of the special but that wasn't the case since I didn't see any other tables with wines. I definitely would return and recommend.
